A established Film and TV Producer with his company ZEBRA PRODUCCIONES and founding partner of Sales Company LATIDO FILMS.
Credits include award winning films such as En la ciudad sin límites by Antonio Hernández, Rencor by Miguel Albaladejo, Salomé by Carlos Saura; box office successes like Dos Tipos Duros by Juan Martinez Moreno, Di que si by Juan Calvo, experimental movies like Síndrome by Liberto Rabal, or award winning documentaries like Fados by Carlos Saura, or The Chicken, the Fish and the King Crab, by Lopez Linares.
ZEBRA has also produced more than 2000 hours of television, both fiction and entertainment.
Antonio Saura was named “producer to watch” by Variety, and was selected “European producer in the move” in 2003. He is Member of the Board of Directors of the European Film Academy. Before creating his production company in 2000, he worked as Head of Development of Lola Films and Iberoamericana Films.
He has had a lasting contribution in film and television training, having been one of the creators and director during 6 years of the Media Business School and a regular lecturer in several prestigious institutions, like the EMAM, the MEGA, Film Business School, Crossing Borders, etc., as well as several universities in Europe. ZEBRA is partner of GREENHOUSE, the EU documentary development training program under MEDIA MUNDUS and EUROMED where Antonio Saura also lectures.
