Maximiliano Cattaneo, Italy (EMAM 2002)
I have graduated in Business Studies at the Luigi Bocconi University of Milan. Before joining the EMAM, my work career had driven me through different experiences that did not really satisfy me because what I did desire was working in the film industry. I wanted to know how it worked and how to get in. The EMAM offered me the opportunity to understand, to meet the players of this industry in Italy and in Europe.
The Masters course helped me to get rid of the ideal job that I had in mind and get closer to the reality of it. I think the EMAM is a very good opportunity for people who have passion for cinema to get the real picture of it and therefore the right approach to work in this sector.
It was not easy but tough and hard work demanding but the people I met during the course, the professionals as instructors and the classmates, were all of high value. After completing the training section held in Rome I was offered through the course an internship at Miramax Italia.I am currently developing a project with one of my fellows at the EMAM.
